There are just two weeks left to get the early registration rate and hotel group rate for NCHICA's 15th Annual Conference & Exhibition. The conference will be held on September 20-23, 2009 at the beautiful Grove Park Inn in Asheville, NC. The conference provides members with an excellent opportunity to learn about the latest developments and best practices in healthcare IT and network with peers from other healthcare organizations.

The theme of this year's conference is Adapting to the Reality of Healthcare IT: A Whole New World, and the agenda is packed with over 30 speakers and 22 sessions on clinical, technology and compliance topics. Plenary sessions will focus on the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and how North Carolina's healthcare community can take advantage of the stimulus funds available for health IT. The early conference registration fee of $450 NCHICA member/$650 non-member is available through August 20, 2009. After that date, they increase to $600 member/$850 non-member. There is also a one-day rate of $225 member/$325 non-member, and special rates of $75 for full-time students and $200 for state government employees.
